Belt Seeker

100t Belt Seeker
Tech Level 12

Designed as much to prospect as to mine, the Belt Seeker can support either a multi-person crew or a small family. The laboratory space allows for better determination of ore quality and quantity after the initial assessment of the find, all at a price not too unreasonable for a small family; to pay a standard mortgage and operating costs requires only about 120,000 Cr per month – less than 3 tons of precious metals, about 6 tons of crystals and gems, or 24 tons of uncommon ore will fund this ship each month.

Typical crew for the Belt Seeker is a pilot, an engineer, and two mission specialists, but many are used by small families.
